Electronic Workshops
I organize and lead workshops/collective learning sessions on DIY electronics and printed circuit board fabrication, focused on building sound-making circuits in a hands-on manner. The sessions are typically been 1-day-long, with 10~15 people attending at once.
During each session, I present the techniques for etching a PCB from a blank copper-clad board. Then, participants go through the steps on their own: Transfering the design, adding their own drawings to the board, etching the copper traces, drilling the holes and soldering the components. Finally, they all go home with their creation.
These workshops focus on collectivizing the tools and techniques I have developped for this craft, and on encouraging the participants to share their own knowledge and expertise on related crafts—printmaking, etching, electronics, drawing, etc.
