Project: selfies, me, gender

i want to start ~taking selfies / making more art containing and centered around pictures of myself; to start exploring more my “gender expresion” and maybe gain confidence?

but i’m a bit worried that it might also be bad for my self esteem? idk.

Anyone has advice or comments on using selfies as a tool for personal growth?
